Blocklist-Update.sh is a script that I wrote to manage blocklists from bluetack etc to be used in conjunction with Transmission torrent downloader in Linux/MacOS. The script can be taylored to work with Qbittorrent as well, but the placement of the blocklists means you'd have to redirect the blocklist to go somewhere locally manageable as Transmission uses its own blocklist directory in .config. I believe there are about 10 lists there now. It works well for my needs. It can be ran weekly using crontab in standard user profile. To download: blocklist-update.sh To download the others: Github
On June 25th in a forum post, Pale Moon lead developer
“Moonchild” as he is called, issued a statement about possible
version 28 release times. The current estimated release date is not
known, but is thought that it will be some time in Autumn. Pale Moon
28 is supposed to bring more web standards support amongst websites
today that version 27 just doesn’t have. The new version will be a
milestone release and is taking part of its code from the new project
Pale Moon developers had in mind with their other browser in
development(Basilisk). Basilisk is a continuation of the XUL platform
for their addons. Right now it doesn’t appear extensively populated
on the Pale Moon add ons page, however, this will most likely change
when their presence grows among forums and communities. When new and
opensource developers take Pale Moon as a serious project, they will
start working on useful extensions and themes for Pale Moon. Pale
Moon is still based in part off of old Mozilla code, but it is not
Firefox, therefore, it still supports older legacy browser code for
things like extensions, etc. This does not mean that all old Firefox
extensions will still work, neither will the Mozilla addon site work
in the browser like it once did, however, they’ve moved away from
that in a more genuine direction. Why fix what wasn’t broken in the
first place? Pale Moon v. 28 is in unstable as of right now,
however, it is potentially stable enough to try out. If you would
like to try it you can find it here. For the Linux version go here. These versions come in portable
installs.
